That thread was composed of some of the most hardcore gold bugs you'll ever want to meet. They were as conservative as can be; but quite open-minded. In a way, they were repulsed by my very "liberal" outlook; on the other hand, they respected me and asked tons of sincere questions to learn more. I enjoyed that thread very much and liked being critically attacked and questioned. That's a far cry from many of the sissy gold bugs on SI today, like gold10k. I miss Richard or long-gone.
