When someone (or something) you love (and have a lot of money invested in) gets really sick, it's emotionally draining and full of heartache. I understand.

By October 2000, I was down a few hundred K on gold miners and my wife was flipping out on me for putting her retirement money in Gold Mining Stocks. We ended up making a lot of money, but in a way it wasn't worth it. In another way, it was worth it big time; for heartache is a part of life.
