believe that is misspeak. Russ had a long run in some native french speaking thread that dealt with individual issues, before spinning himself off into the newsletter bidness. Wonder how he's doing now. Haven't checked on him in several blue moons. ANyone know what Russ likes nowadays or does he even remember his lowly SI roots? -vbg- PS...GPM was hot and heavy in 2000...because Maastricht Treaty shennigans were ongoing and the EU was made effective 12.31.1999 midnight. Gold price suppression was at its zenith then in order to get the EMU launched, not unlike what's going on now to get get the AMU launched. How soon we forget, eh?

Dara - no one moderated the GPM thread in the late 90s. There was no need to, as there were a number of very strong individuals who would not put up with any BS. If you couldn't handle being viciously attacked and criticised, then you left on your own accord. Russ Winter was the moderator of the Epic American Credit Bubble Thread. Nice to hear from you. Put your feet up and relax. The bartender is serving Pittsburgh Boilermakers, Merlot and Green Tea for the health conscious. I hear some Country and Western in the background.
