FSP. I keep wavering on this one. Seems like it could be safe enough -- continuing small insider purchases anyway. Yield 6.5%. What I don't like is that the dividend hasn't increased in years. I have a nagging suspicion that I could and should do better than sticking with FSP. (more OHI?) Meanwhile I hold on to my few shares.

Fwiw, I'm watching Tangier Factory Outlet (SKT). Much lower yield than FSP. Different real estate business model of course. Maybe much more risky. Otoh, somewhat increasing dividends.

Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE: DOC)

Hi Grommit - I own both CCG and CCG-PA but missed the most recent buy (at/near their 52/wk low -:)). I heard an interview w/ the CEO that manages this new medial office REIT (DOC) and found it a compelling argument for owning this specific REIT sector. I have had a lot of success with MPW and DOC seems to be a similar offering.

Have you reviewed this REIT sector (ie medical office properties) and if so have you looked at DOC? The offering is pretty new so it is a bit difficult to evaluate their historical performance but their premise is that medical treatment in these urgent care facilities is cheaper than going to an emergency room facility located in/at a hospital.

I have no position in DOC but have been looking at this sector and DOC appears to be in a "growth" market especially w/ a business model that works well with Obama Care.

Do you have any opinion and based on your valuation method(s), does DOC meet any of your REIT investment criteria and/or are there red flags I might have missed? Link to DOC Web Site.

I was thinking of investing some of the proceeds from my PFE sale into this name. Yield for DOC is 7.2% w/ some good future growth prospects too.

EKS

ARCP: Grommit, fwiw, I'll follow some of the guys on the income and dividend threads and will step up now for a few starting shares of triple-net reit ARCP. I'll guess the increased dividend is sustainable, and I sometimes Iike to bet on an aggressive aggregator in a sector (which ARCP apparently is). Sometimes this has worked out okay for me.
