Hi L, Re: VLIS.............. I've been using Value Line for a very long time - decades. I've been in the last couple of years using their four suggested portfolios in the Selection and Opinion section as hunting grounds for may "sandbox" portfolio. In there I have ten stocks, each roughly equally weighted. In recent times I've been using relatively mature dividend payers as fodder there. Cyclical price activity offers some opportunity to trade around core positions while collecting 'rent' in the form of dividends. Sorry for the multi-year delayed response.
