Seeing as this is a Board where its original founder encouraged ....

"Value plays in the Ben Graham tradition"

.... the following link may be relevant and possibly of interest ...

Seems it was primarily about interrogating the Fundamentals of a company.

I agree with everything you posted and it really is the basis for my argument with Paul. Paul has been a bully to anyone posting the slightest reference to TA, when in fact, that is the starting point for many of his picks.

I hate bullies.

As you said; It absolutely does not matter what you use as a starting point to find value.

If you want to use lows, that's fine, but its just a starting point. If you want to find value, you can't avoid the fundamentals.

In my previous post, I included a sequence of posts by moderator Paul on DLR. Not one post included any value relevant information or opinion, just that DLR was hitting a new low or suffering a sell off.

And by the way, as you know, Graham did not use 52 week lows as he had specific ratios for putting a value on a stock. He bought when the market priced a stock at a lower price than his model did, regardless of whether the stock was at a high or a low.

Thank you for your civility and allowing me an opportunity to vent.
