I suspect the nsa monitors everything just in case but I doubt there is much they can do about it. I suspect that the reason gold and silver might be going up now is that the snowstorm in the usa has put a damper on the open market operations of the powers that be. that is the real way they try to keep gold and silver prices in check. But I suspect that other countries are wising up fast and preparing themselves for the day when its " the emperor has no clothes" time. perhaps they will realize that $50 silver and $2500 gold might still be some sort of global equilibrium where the dollar will still survive. as oppose to some panic mode where countries are only willing to paid in barter mediums of exchange. Then again perhaps the USA has to figure out how to purchase gold on the sly to return to the germans without pushing the price of gold sky hi. perhaps we will see major us banks buying gold miners.
