Yes the Mangy Bear is enjoying himself today - having a good evil thrill at the expense of the Proud Lions. I was at Fall Internet World yesterday - not sure of the financial viability of any of these companies but cable modems are sizzling unlike a certain stock... tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick ..... BOOM - 19 lbs of TNT - an outright implosion - must feel like those poor pigeons who got schmoked when that Hollywood Building for some upcoming film was imploded. the mangy bear is also taking quite a pounding today.. but in the badly paraphrased words of Kipling, he refuses to lose his head while all about him are losing theirs and ... he always keeps the smiling disposition since it stays the jumping off the highest floor of the tallest building... --- And this Mangy Bear wishes to point out to those who love their HOMES that CAVES are built to last a thousand years while HOMES can be huffed and puffed while the BEARS turn the all mighty American Pie to ASIAN CHOP SUI... ---- while the few remaining Proud and Brave Marines south of the 39th (?) Parallel, afflicted with the Asian Flu, are left to eat not the Best of America's Campbell Chicken Soup but instead the remnants of the last crumbs of Raman Noodles.... ---- (Idaho Potatoes NOT - Asian Basmati RICE - YUMMY) ---- the buckling of the Lions' faux-knees - the mangy bear is beginning to see the weak knees of the Lions and Bulls... the angst of margin calls... he begins to see the thinning of their once sanguine dispositions... the bears have got the smell of fear and are going for the jugular... tick tick tick... oops 20 3/16 again.... --- But in the spirit of good competition - ONE big DELICIOUS KISS to the LIONS... as the BEARS bid them farewell on the first maiden voyage of the TITANIC. :-\ (this mangy bear is beginning to look over his shoulders at the expected slings and arrows that the few, the proud, the brave are going to be flinging in his direction) 20 3/16
