This is head so much, I really don't think that most of the people who post this realize just how difficult it is to do what MS has done, or how difficult it is to put out products the size of Win95, NT or IE4 without any bugs.

MS software is not perfect, and in many areas I wish something or the other was different. But as heterogenous as the PC environment is, with a bazillion devices made by a bazillion manufacturers, and computers spanning all the way from 386 ISA to Pentium II, I think that overall Microsoft has done a great job, and their financial results suggest that most of the world -- which votes with their wallets -- also thinks so.
