*re: since you said "bottom-feeder model".* Maybe bottom feeder isn't the right name. It's trying to find companies that seemed to be doing well in the past but aren't currently. I'm not a cigar butt type guy - I'm looking for companies that if they fix things might could get back to more typical historical results that indicated they were good businesses to start with. Some of it also was to identify troughs in longer cycles (CLF and EXC might be examples of that).
