Loren,

The reason is because we want to buy the stock for as little as possible. If we wait for a developed uptrend then the stock is much more expensive than if we buy at the bottom. And we all want to buy at the bottom! What is even more fun is to try to determine when the stock is in an established uptrend. Many thought the stock was in such a trend a few weeks ago when it wast at 29. Now it is at 19. The problem with an established trend is that it is only obvious after it is over. So on Monday morning we all know what teams were bound to win on Sunday. Perhaps I missed your post from the latter part of June to September when I'm sure you told us that the stock was in such an "Established Uptrend" and that it was a good time to buy. So, Loren, please inform the group just exactly when the stock is in an "Established Uptrend" so that we may buy and know that the stock will, from that point forwared, go up an not down. I look forward to your TA pronouncement BEFORE the fact.

Steve
