I'm afraid it is a little more serious than just today's market, guys.

Reebok came out and said they were going to have to reduce expectations for the coming year because of flat sales. Woolworth (which owns Foot Locker) and Finish Line both took a nosedive today too on that news. Looks like FEET is following the pattern.

The expectation is probably that earnings will come up short for the retailers next time around. If Reebok is seeing reduced orders, then that means inventory is building up in the stores. Maybe we should have Geri ask her son-in-law about inventory levels and strength of ordering from the manufacturers??
