Yes...I am only slightly familiar with Greer Bancshares [GRBS] ... you painted an accurate picture.

TBV is: $6.57

MV is currently: $5.30

LTM EPS is: $3.91

LTM P/E is: 1.33 (Banks in SC have on average a P/E of 11.81)

NPA's are low @ 2.07%

Cap ratios are good.Texas Ratio is: 18.48%

TARP
debt is the weak link in their chain...but the bank has been gaining on profits very nicely, growing in assets (more importantly the quality of their assets overall).... and all in all not a bad bank to invest in.

* There are banks I like better only because they can be bought at steeper discounts to BV ...but this is a very solid bank.
