"she is the right person for the moment"

Not my first choice, but I agree. We're not ready to elect a progressive, regardless of the sex. koan is fooling himself if he thinks Warren or Sanders can beat a crazy, or even Bush or Christie with lots of money.

Actually, she is the right person for the moment, better than Warren. More experienced.

I hate to have to agree but I do. However, I want a very strong progressive voice pushing Clinton as far leftward as the general election permits. And governing afterward. That's why Warren, Brown, and Sanders, if they could organize something, are my bet for shaping the future of the progressive movement. I'm still watching de Blasio to see if he has a future as well.

I agree with you, Sam. I think Hillary has the experience to accomplish amazing things, if she chooses to. She knows the people who can make it all happen. She's seen just about every possible misstep, and will know how to avoid them. If Obama was a smart, quick learning amatuer, Hillary will by the experienced pro.

What good is all Hillary's skill if she refuses to do what needs to be done? Which is tame the plutocrats and reverse the terrible social problems we keep overlooking.

And having run for our state legislature, I can assure you, you can't take the lobbyist's money and vote against them, at all.

Warren was very careful where her money came from. Hillary is a multi millionaire and didn't need to take Goldman Sachs' money; and sitting on the board of Walmart for 6 years just shows amazing insensitivity to the problem of income inequality and control by the plutocrats.

Didn't she ever see how poor those Walmart workers are and how much they are taken advantage of? I have only been in Walmart a few times and the exploitation of the employees is pretty easy to see.

I, and many here, wouldn't do it in a million years and we are not millionaires. Be facilitators to their insensitivity?

Can you imagine Warren getting in bed with either Walmart or Goldman Sachs'? Never. They are moral criminals.

If not Warren, we need someone like Warren who will openly fight for what we need to do. Like Eric Holder seems to be doing recently: e.g.giving voting rights back to people who were not in jail for violent crimes. It is about time someone saw past the boxes walls.

We cannot any longer keep turning our heads away from the horrible poverty and inequity taking place in this country caused by the power of the plutocrats.

We know Warren sees it clearly and would fight for what we know is right. We have no such feeling about Hillary.

I just saw Summers interview and he said he thought we should lower taxes. This is the guy Obama wanted to put in the fed. Lower taxes?? Really?

I know you know all of this. We probably just disagree on tactics.

Actually, she is the right person for the moment, better than Warren. More experienced. At the end of whatever career she has. Just like LBJ could get the Civil Rights Bill done and Nixon could go to China and Begin could make peace with Egypt. You seem to forget the True Politicians' Creed--

If you can't drink a lobbyist's whiskey, take his money, sleep with his women and still vote against him in the morning, you don't belong in politics.
Billary belongs in politics. Unlike Warren, she has been around the block a dozen times. And back again. That makes a huge difference.
