What about the idle wealthy? Why does our society honor them, and shower them with even more riches, simply because they were born into wealth or acquired wealth?
I don't know that I agree with the statement that American society "honors" the idle wealthy who have inherited their money. I'm open to proof on it though. I might go with the statement that we respect their purchasing power.

In any event, my larger view of idleness is that too much ot it breeds mischief in the human race--which is a very Biblical view, but confirmed by my life experience.
