Jeff, It was Neitzche who said that a thinking man has to be a pessimist. An optimist lives on hopes a pessimist on analysis.
When one starts to think about the future of man,
one comes inevitably to the conclusion that at best he just muddles through. I don't want to take quite so long view though; I would like to
make some money on both the bear and bull markets :)
