Arch, Heaven help me, but I bought more today, first purchase since early summer!! Will use these new shares to trade into the spring runup, or on any sharp spikes in response to favorable news. Maybe I can get some quick profit to move back into the techs when they settle down. BTW, did you ever take a position in AMAT? I did for a short while after their recent good earnings report; I took a small loss, but luckily sold it at 3:59 yesterday, thereby avoiding today's 4 point drop. Some of the techs look pretty compelling as long term plays at current prices, especially those in semi, semi-equip, diskdrive, telco-equip, networking sectors. Even techs with little or no Asian exposure are being pounded mercilessly. What are you playing these days besides ABTX and REFR? The Happy Hayseed, Jim L.
