It is getting close to 19 what do you think? ready to throw in the towel?

Yes I think it's time to do the honorable thing and hang thy heads in agony, in sadness, in pain. Better than that Asian Sword Ritual to the abdomen to wipe away shame....

David... My only pleasure in the carnage is the propect of bargains it offers. BTW, that 19 target is beginning to look VERY difficult when LSI didn't "crump" under the weight of today's bad news.. If it were going to break, here was the chance -- down 2 or 3 points..
As you know I have a bunch of Calls on LSI in Jan/Apr, and want to get about twice what I have, hoping to ride the January effect to some meager percentage of that $200k example you cited.. ((Nice move!!)
With nearly 50% of funds in ca$h, am hoping to redeem my misplaced earlier enthusism. Some nice bounces coming, though, don't you think? TSO

David,

What are you saying????????

Let me remind you of one of the most important rules of the contest:

It ain't over 'til it's over and since it ain't over it ain't over.

Don't let walking on hot burning coals ruin your day. Find the horse!

RE: 1400 is pain enough.

Here are some thoughts. The Dow shows resistance @8220+- , so 8250 must be beat in my book. The S&P needs to beat 990 (resistance @980+-). The Naz needs to beat resistance @1650+-. It sports a possible rectangular trading range in the works with support @1530 (so in my book of painful numbers a break of 1525 leads us to 1400 (which is jmho and not guaranteed)). However, not all stocks will participate in the drop so watch your sectors. Should it come to pass, there's nothing wrong with 1400. It would be a healthy pullback within a bull market uptrend and would most likely quiet the mangy bears and send the Kahuna thread to Maui for some well deserved R&R. After all they've been waiting for this since the Naz was at 1350 ;>)
