I am surprised that no one has picked up on a news item I just overheard on my car radio. Bloomburg business report. A large amount of money, according to the source, was just freed today by the federal govt to be relegated to agencies to deal with the Y2K problem. The agencies use of these funds was, according to the report, to be somewhat discretionary, but initial allocations were to be targeted towards each agencies need assessment. Can anyone else confirm this? Thank you. Frank.
