OT: PEP. Yeah maybe not a split up. Somehow, someone though maybe encouraged the Pepsi board to jump up the dividend and stock buyback.

PEP not a value stock imo. I mention it only in response to your post because I happen to have added a little to my small PEP position this morning. (aside: Just because I don't like food companies trading >15x earnings, doesn't necessarily mean I won't buy any - or something like PEP with its size/brand/and great dividend history.)

also aside: These company tie-ups with food purveyors -- Taco Bell Beefy Crunch Burrito with Fritos and the Fritos Chicken Sandwich from Subway -- I admire the creative ideas to expand sales. Jeez though, one has to wonder about the health aspect of these products.
