you guys are beating on each other forgetting that there is an angry white elephant stampeding through the living room... look at the price of oil during the Nixon/Carter/Reagan years... between Volker and price of oil, anything Reagan actually did or didn't do is probably no very important for that time span... Presidents don't mean bupkiss 1/2 the time, and Reagan's addition/subtraction to the US economy was a long term proposition, and had very little to do with the ensuing boom. Just as Obama had very little to do with this recovery, and in fact Bush had little to do with what went on during his administration (economically)... this business that presidents are these all powerful people is ridiculous.

Rarely are there events where presidents actually leave important imprints.... of course the bank bail out WAS probably one of them, as was invading Iraq and Afganistan.... so Bush was batting zero, sadly for him. I suspect he was listening to a lot of idiots unfortunately.

Obama is also batting zero, although to be fair to him, his problem is trying to not get RightWingNutz angry by doing what should be done... pulling out of the ME immediately. He's trying to "be political"... he should have had some gonads and announced a pullout the first week in office... so he's guilty of wasting vast sums of money as well.

I know you think its true (and if you didn't guess I disagree), but even if it is true that doesn't mean its supported. You do nothing to show its true, in other words you do not support it. Thus is is unsupported.
