"The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is after all, merely one fool.
It is much less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama. It real danger is in the citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

"The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America.

NBC Calls Being Married and Having Kids ‘Alternative Lifestyle’

NBC discovers strange alternative lifestyle

23 yo Olympic athlete a married responsible religious adult.

In modern America,23 yo's aren't supposed to be mature enough for that, they should be living in their parent's basement, looking forward to years more on their parents insurance.

Just NBC the Moral Equivalence: Marriage as an ‘Alternative Lifestyle’
February 19th, 2014 - 12:03 pm

“David Wise’s alternative lifestyle leads to Olympic gold,” NBC reports. Wow, sounds like sexy stuff. How exactly is Wise letting his freak flag fly?

David Wise is at the top of his sport. He’s always smiling among his friends and competitors, however, he’s not like the rest of the field. He is mature.

Not to say the rest of the freestyle skiers of halfpipe are not mature, but Wise is mature far beyond his years. At only twenty-three years old, he has a wife, Alexander, who was waiting patiently in the crowd, and together they have a two-year-old daughter waiting for them to return to their home in Reno, Nevada.

At such a young age, Wise has the lifestyle of an adult. He wears a Baby Bjorn baby carrier around the house. He also attends church regularly and says he could see himself becoming a pastor a little later down the road.

Whoa, radical, dude — get down with your crazy self! Or as Charles C.W. Cooke responds at the NRO Corner, “In Shocker, 23-Year-Old Man Is ‘Adult:’”

“At such a young age, Wise has the lifestyle of an adult.” Well, he is an adult. He’s 23. At what point exactly did it become so surprising that a 23-year-old would have a wife and a two-year-old daughter and be regarded as an “adult”?

My father had a job when he was 16, and, by the time that he was 23, he was married and in the military. By the time that his father was 23, he had become a master carpenter and fought in the Second World War. That someone can write such sentences with a straight face does not bode well. Perhaps it’s time to raise the voting age?

Yes, I think a repeal of the 26th Amendment would be rather popular right now, in an era of self-described “Liberal F***s” dressed up as Footie Pajamas Boys shilling Obamacare. And note that it isn’t just NBC going full Weimar on Wise; as Bryan Preston adds at the Tatler, “NBC aren’t the only ones who have gone after David Wise for being a married adult taking care of his family. Yahoo Sports says he is ‘ wildy uncool.’”

Elsewhere in NBC’s coverage of “alternative lifestyles,” Tom Brokaw had an interesting turn of the phrase at the Sochi Olympics. Brokaw once looked at the men who by the time they reached Wise’s young age had survived FDR’s socialist-based Depression in America, only to then fight National Socialism in Europe and dubbed them “The Greatest Generation,” appropriately enough. But what about those who then had to face off against International Socialism in the following decades? That was merely some crazy American “obsession,” according to Brokaw this past Saturday at the Olympics, as spotted by Matthew Balan of Newsbusters:

TOM BROKAW: While the balance of power had shifted in space, here on Earth, the U.S. and the Soviet Union were still positioning for an upper hand.

TOM STAFFORD, ASTRONAUT: Each country had four to six thousand strategic nuclear weapons aimed at each other, plus thousands of tactical nuclear weapons – all types of conventional force.

ALEXEI LEONOV, COSMONAUT (speaking in Russian): There were no Soviet military bases around the United States. There were none. Around the Soviet Union in Norway, Germany, and Turkey, there were American bases. Therefore, it was not us encircling America, it was America encircling us.

BROKAW: In Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, and space, the U.S. spared little to defeat communism – at times, it seemed like a national obsession.

The anchor never explained that in each of those instances, the United States was responding to an earlier move by the Soviet Union or its allies. During the Korean War, the Soviet-backed North Korean “People’s Army” invaded South Korea. Several years later, the U.S. space program was sent into overdrive after the launch of Sputnik in 1957. The following decade, the Soviet Union placed nuclear missiles in Cuba, which led to the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962; and South Vietnam was already fighting the communist North Vietnamese forces as the U.S. gradually become more and more involved.

Oh and by the way, Chris Matthews told his viewer(s) yesterday that those Communists that Tom Brokaw describes America as being obsessed with were right about America. It’s being run by wealthy elites. The wrong kind — those horrible non-decadent conservative elites. The Red State Menace is coming!

Of course, Matthews ignored the influence of liberal elites like George Soros and Bill Maher who contributed $1 million each to Obama’s super PAC in 2012, and the fact that President Obama raised more money than his challenger Mitt Romney and spent almost as much.

Instead, Matthews sounded the alarm over conservative activists looking to influence politics with their money. “All the big boys have to do, as I said, and by them I mean the Koch brothers and their copycats is check the state polls, look to see who’s in trouble, where they are, and throw a huge pile of money into the hands of the challengers. The right-wing challengers. This is not democracy.”

And Matthews once again validated the communist critique of America:

“No, it reminds me of what the Communists used to say about us in the old days, that behind the pretense of democracy and free elections was the power of the Rockefellers pulling the strings, working the puppets, getting everything the way they wanted it.”

Please, nobody tell Chris that Jay Rockefeller is a Democrat. Or that NBC’s HQ is located in Rockefeller Center.

The Democrats in the famous Obamacare signing photo are rapidly retiring
.........................................................................................................................................
dailycaller.com ^ | 2/24/14 | Patrick Howley

Seven of the Democratic lawmakers surrounding President Obama when he signed the Affordable Care Act in 2010 are either now out of Congress or on their way out.

As depicted in this Daily Caller graphic, seven smiling Democrats have gone down or out in the last four years.

Among the retirees:

  • Tom Harkin: The Iowa senator announced last year that he will step down after completing his fifth term in 2015.
  • Chris Dodd: The Connecticut Democrat chose not to run for re-election in 2010 and now works as a lobbyist for the motion picture industry.
  • John Dingell: Michigan congressman Dingell announced his retirement Monday, effective at the end of this year, after nearly six decades in the House.
  • Patrick Kennedy: The Rhode Island Democrat’s 2011 retirement marked the first time since 1947 that no Kennedys were in Congress. That phenomenon was short-lived.
  • Henry Waxman: The mustachioed California congressman is not seeking re-election in 2014.
  • George Miller: The California Democrat announced last month that he will retire from the House at the end of his current term.
  • Max Baucus: The Montana Democrat resigned from the Senate this month to become Obama’s ambassador to China, ensuring that he’ll get to deal with the Communists now instead of having to go back and face Montana voters.
Who will be the next Democrat to bite the dust?
