By today's extremist "conservative" standards, Ronald Reagan was a left wing nut job. Check out his tax rates, for example. And his nuclear arms reductions. APPEASER!! So was the pink lefty Abe Lincoln back when the republican Party was a broad tent that included nineteenth century idealists.
