Chaz, the price of the machines is right. Probably more like $65,000. And (if you want to read the last thousand posts or so . . . I thought not) you'd see that IDX is the overwhelming favorite to get a carryover of another 300 or so machines. The INS budget just got signed a couple of weeks ago. It's a long story, but almost certainly with a very happy ending.

Chaz...I hope you won't be just a lurker. It's true that most people who post on the thread are IDX enthusiasts for one reason or another, but it's equally true that ideas are exchanged openly and without the usual insults that pollute other threads. Good reads between the lines of a company's 10k's are hard to come by, and if something seems odd, it's important for the non-accounting folks such as I to have questioning minds such as yours post their thoughts. You've raised some valid questions to which I hope to find answers. Thanks for keeping us on our toes. Jean

chaz, Randy Fowler was very clear on the last conference call that all of the revenue from the 43 machine order was not in there. As for the inventory, this may be what IDX feels is reasonable as FY end 96 figure was 792K. Interest paid was 21K as compared to 96s 67K on borrowings of 2.69M as compared to 96s 3.72M. With debt going down even while opening new international offices this past spring, I see this as a plus. I think the receivables question probably lies at the slow feet of the gov't, but it would be nice to get confirmed. Also I'm sure there is more in inventory than just TP 600s, although they would be the most expensive items. The question of time to build and ship a TP 600, were none in the warehouse, would be of interest. IMHO inventory number is going up right now, and for good reason.
