Paul, Are you sure that you actually get a full 40mbs throughput? Also it sees to me that you will be sharing the local cable loop with your neighborhood since your cable company doesn't typically provide a dedicated coax to each building. Once others users jump on your throughput will be impaired. Steve, I believe you meant Glenn. Anyhow, I do not get the 40mbs throughput due to the backbone to the ISP being limited to a T3. There are users on the cable system so we share backbone bandwidth. Also, many servers cannot supply data that quickly. Their are no other users on the system in my neighborhood and I can get 40 mbs from the ISP server. Glenn
