Where are people getting this? I'm seeing it all over SI.

<off topic>

I was on the road...Same time, different freeway. Have 2000 employed on my employers day shift today and we are a bit concerned with some missing. We all hope the complete shut down of the hiway brings them our way later or back home.

For those interested...That stretch of interstate 5 is just south of the termed "Pocket Area" which is about 10 miles south downtown Sacramento. Fog lays in condensed pockets (absolute 0 visability) with breaks of full visability every mile or so. We had a freeze last evening too.

I have seen other freeways in the US that protect against the same things happening by setting very bright blinking amber lights on overheads with speed restriction under such conditions.

I think the governor, our mayor and other affluent Sacramentians might take notice this time and forget the image of this city, for now, by not building a 30 million dollar football stadium as 80% of our school roofs leak with the rain. The "Fantasy of Lights" at Cal Expo (2 million of them in all). Oh, It's just beautiful, as I here it and the only one in California like it. A 45 minute drive-thru costing $12-20 depending on vehicle size with total revenue expected in 7 digits. Hmmm! Seems to me...the city could cover both concerns. What about hanging a few thousand of those lights over the Pocket Area?

I was driving one of my 3 sons to trumpet practice at 7am on a foggy and different freeway. I feel lucky and ya...I'm just a bit pissed too.
