It wouldn't need to pop ads any more than your Apple Maps or Google Maps does. It could audibly relay information such as, "your ETA is going to be 10 minutes longer if you go your usual route... but if you take Exit 1 coming up, you could bypass most of the traffic", or "Your gas is running low. There's a station 2.5 miles ahead if you take Exit 2", or "The package you ordered from Amazon just arrived at your home."
