The Earth is, in reality, very resilient. It can tolerate a lot. So, I care about it, but I don't want to spend a ton of money on it. A little research money, sure. But we really aren't in a position to make any real difference at this time. Maybe a future generation can. What we CAN do is leave future generations in such a financial mess that no one gives a shit about the planet because they are more concerned about where their next meal is going to come from. And THAT is a very real problem that is coming up quickly.
