Tim, arguing about what's a GOOD deficit and what's a BAD deficit all seems ludicrous to me.

I think all deficits are BAD. But sometimes they are necessary as in the time of WAR.

Saying that one guy's deficit was O.K. because it was a small percentage of GDP but another guy's deficit is NOT O.K. because it was a much larger percentage of GDP doesn't really fly with me.

No one can predict FUTURE GDP so that makes EVERY deficit BAD. Just ask DETROIT.........
