I liked Greenspan early in the Clinton Administration when he supported Clinton's tax hike. Deficits were running up and it looked like things were getting out of hand.

Then he said this STUPID thing about bankers being left alone because they were essentially honest and could be trusted.

Then he pumped all that cash into the system because of Y2K. Internet stocks were going crazy and he didn't do ANYTHING to bring sense to the markets. THAT caused the crash in internet stocks.

The he kept pumping money into the markets because of 9/11 and that led to the the massive bubble in the housing market and that led to the crash of 2007/2008.
