I wanted to own names long term (we've heard that before!), so i picked three enterprise companies of serious contention. I figure CRM is a global cloud applications platform with few if any natural enemies left. WDAY is essentially Peoplesoft 2.0 by the same people just in the cloud, and is their just, proud vengeance against Oracle. And Splunk is this little wunderkind out of nowhere beginning by indexing log files, and suddenly has become an enterprise-scale data indexing company. My two cents.
