James, ** OFF TOPIC** I use several sources. I use Value Line (both large and small cap editions), and I use IBD relative earnings (I ignore relative strength). I look up all the news articles I can find, and I then go to 10-Ks and and 10-Q's and try to find out all I can about the company. I am currently very high on VRC (I even bought some more today at 24 1/4!) because it manufactures and upgrades rigs for deep water drilling. Earnings visibility is excellent because of the lead-time to build modern, hi-tech oil rigs, and the fundamentals of the industry indicate an imbalance between rig builders and demand for replacement rigs (not to mention new rigs).

I've used the same method to buy some other nice small-cap stocks: BTV and RXT. I'm giving very serious thought to JBIL, but haven't come to any conclusion yet.

Does this answer your questions?

Regards,

Paul
