I updated both my iPhone and iPad yesterday to 7.0.6. It was only about 13mb and took about 6 minutes via DSL. Are you sure you didn't have old updates that also had to be updated?

Has anyone else here updated to iOS 7.0.6 this weekend and noticed a very slow download for the update?
I updated it directly from my iPhone and it didn't take too long. Is there a reason you don't download it directly?

It took over 2 hours to download the patch for both my iPad and iPhone.

I knew it was because the Network here is analog and very slow.

It is very possible that Apple's Servers are just slammed as it is a fairly large download and million trying to do it at once must be putting a strain on the Backbone of Apple's Network.
