I'm old school about updates, I prefer to do them via the cable attached to the Mac rather than over-the-air.

Same for me I went from 7.0.4 to 7.0.6 and the downloads were about 1.3 GB's each.

Thought I saw 7.0.5 was for the Chinese iPhone but could be remembering something that isn't real.

Might be flash backs from drinking the Koolaid at Mac Cafe with Steve!
