Betty ann Jon must be so proud of himself that he finally called a stock right that he wants topush his luck and say RMBS is goung to zero....Go read some of his posts about CREAF going to 40, its now at 18.... I shorted CREAF 3 times sucessfully and I said it would be at 18 and Jon said there wasn't a chance. He also said BA wasn't a good short at 52 1/2 three days later its at 48 1/2... So I wouldn't worry to much about this stock going to much further based on Jon's record.

Not irrational at all, Betty, just the facts.

The theoretical maximum loss of any stock is 100%. The theoretical maximum gain is infinate.

Chip, I'm afraid, has lost sight of what the maximum loss is. He seems to think that the maximum he can lose on RMBS is a couple more (or maybe 10 more, for all I know) points. But the maximum possible loss is about 47.

I think that what Chip meant is that, in his opinion, RMBS won't drop much further. That is a far cry from a statement of fact that the downside is limited. Yes, the downside is limited - to his entire investment.
