Good to know. Powering down and soft resets fix a lot of iDevice issues when they have them.

Sometimes you have to go as far as a complete backup and restore, but that usually only if there are system-wide issues. An example of that I've been reading about recently is installing iOS 7 on an iPad 2. Many people have had problems with that update until they went the complete backup/restore route.
