The future of composites are also entering small engines.
In the past two years I have noticed that they are starting to use thermo-plastic composite parts "inside" small engines, (snowblowers,
lawn mowers, ect) This year Briggs & Stratton are using a composite starter ring gear and also a composite cam gear. What next.... a composite crank shaft, piston and connecting rod ?

Jim M.
