There are enough facts about the AFCA to make the case that it is "a mess" for those people who have had their premiums raised and their coverage reduced or had access to the Dr. of their choice restricted. Democrats need to be prepared to address this issue in the midterms. Here in NC the Democratic Senate candidate is getting pounded by television ads on this very issue. So far the response is not adequate in terms of moving her up in the polls to where she was before the "pounding" started.

The Democrats in recent budget negotiations over the debt ceiling would not agree to Republican demands without accompanying tax increases. They need to be able to explain why they are for tax increases and why they are for the country's benefit. This will probably be an issue in the midterms.

Epicure gave one response on the too much regulation issue. See my response to her on that.
