THis has been discussed a lot here already, but you're not buying a set of tires when you rush to the hospital with an illness, infection or a broken limb. In my county there is one and only one hospital. .........Don't you think that the idea of shopping prices still misses the most important factor with health care cost - it just cost a lot because medicine and medical practice is getting insanely complicated. This trend is going to do nothing but continue - so as we nibble at the edges trying to look for a solution the average prices continues up up and away.

Having said that - I agree with the general premise of the piece.
