I worry about that issue as well as that they may become the rooming houses of the past that over time slowly run down.

in snohomish, wa, there is a cluster of houses known as "soap suds row," because in the days of logging (long long time ago), the people who lived in soap suds row did the laundry for the workers...or something like that...anyway, now they are low-income or senior housing with a long wait list...

I wish the apodments were built as well as this row housing The thing that worries me most about apodments is the communal sharing. I think it will result in hi turnover once the newness of the place wears off.
