aren't words fun.... And in the beginning there was the "word" and the word was "Mamma"....;o)

The mother is God in the mind of the child, i would challenge any theologian anywhere anytime, to negate the interconnectedness of all things as we see in the universal relationship of mother & child.

Know how to make God laugh?

Tell Her your plans...

There really is one idea that is coming to the fore, that is the interconnectedness of all things. To say there wouldn't be morality without God & all would be arbitrary & relative, well life has its ways of imparting meaning, everyone gets this, being alive is the meaning, life sure is a teacher.

I often look at this story of Jesus, son of the tribe of Israel that for centuries sees itself getting its ass kicked up and down so badly, sold into slavery then freed only to get beat up again & enslaved, then when released they start making war on themselves for another 1 1/2 centuries murdering each other.

Then people are surprised some kid comes along with the simple slogan

"why can't we all get along?"

The greatest truths of all religions are really the simplest, Jesus was so radical he even forgave the whore if i get the story right, after one looks at Jewish history, it would be impossible to imgine there not be the coming of some pacifist preacher, in fact there were many back in those days. The ironic thing, it was the Jews stubborn belief in only their own one true God that got them destroyed, so after all this its time to change the plan stan.

Then you have the Roman general Titus who destroys Jerusalem, later to become Emperor, when back in Rome refuses to accept the victory wreath, saying he did not deserve the honor for he was only doing the will of god.

Kind of funny, but not the reality of life in those times or still now, Creationists have it all wrong, there was never a garden of eden where the dinosaurs were vegetarians, life is incessant predation, just ask any turkey around thanksgiving. ;o)
