Hi Mark: Japan costs IBM slightly - MacIntouch Ric Ford seems down Mer. Lyn. took 0.06 off IBM's 4Q for Japan . IBM/AAPL had cut Japanese prices on their Powerbooks probably to spur sales . AAPL's absence from InterNet World may be a market shrinkage predictor and Mac World may not be enough . Ric Ford/MacIntouch predicts shrinkage for 1998 : zdnet.com The leadership of career-committed , dynamic , channel-wise , firmly at the helm , shareholding CEO is needed for AAPL to see better days .
