If S3 drops below 5, I believe the bottom may fall out.
Furthermore, with the current condition this company is in, I wouldn't be surprised if S3 gets downgraded by a few big brokerage firms. I was tempted to buy S3 at 5 1/2 but it seems like too high of a risk to dive into at this point. I give my sincerest condolences to those who have lost money on S3 (I've lost money on S3 as well) and I'm sorry to say it may get worse before it gets better. When I look at S3's chart, I get pretty sick...when a company drops this much in this short amount of time, something is seriously wrong. To me, the downside potential of S3 equals its upside potential...too risky for my taste. Going to keep a close watch on them and maybe jump in when there's some solid news of a possible recovery or plan for success in the company's future.

Your comments are well taken, and they bring up another somewhat related, question. The mutual fund managers who invest in small caps, as well as companies who invest in high tech, are reluctant to invest in companies selling for less than $5.00. Does anyone have an opinion on that? I am concerned that the mutual funds may stay away as a matter of policy, rather than as a matter of analysis. If this should occur, we may have quite a wait for a return to decent prices -- $10+.
