All true points Steve! The problem is, Mike Dell says today that Xmas sales are strong, and Dell's stock is strong! Mason keeps saying things at CPQ are strong, and the stock goes down! It smells like insiders know something and are selling. By the way, what's with pushing your targets out!! From 100/January to 80-100/April??? Come on Steve, are you giving up on CPQ also????

John

Steve,

"...doesn't mean that much since they have to up cpq's price to the 80-100 range after april 1998". Why does the street have to up cpq's price to the 80-100 range after april 1998 and how soon can one expect this to occur after April, 1998? Are we talking may - july or greater than 6 months after April, 1998?

Been going through McMillan - detailed book.

Steve: I played CPQ 2 times the last month or so and made 5 points each time. I've played MSFT 3 times the last 3 months and made about 5 points each time. Others include GM, DELL, INTC, & TXN. I was a long term holder for 30 years I can remember, but the last couple of years with computer knowledge and low broker commissions I have become a short term player. This way is not only more profitable but more fun as well. I have held stocks for years only to sell them as losers, but never again.
