I think that's what the street thinks. But keep in mind that the standard is NOT "in place". There is simply some kind of agreement in principle that looks like it will be put in place in the first qtr of next year. Revenue for new v.pcm modems won't be possible until probably March or even later. We (USRX) went through this whole thing last year with the first 56K modems, and USR was agonizingly slow to get the products out the door. Meanwhile, the stock suffered. Also, obviously "the standard" is too late for the Christmas '97 buying season. Not meaning to rain on the parade, but I've been there, done that with USR, and the stock grew progressively weaker in the spring.

Caution seems warranted.
