That's just how it works Alex. Whether it is a war, or a big infrastructure program, without the support of the people the effort FAILS! ........You don't like conservatives - I get that. But in the real world, what does all that hate get you? Absolutely nothing. Obama doesn't get the Congress he would like, he gets the congress that the American people sent him. If he sells the program to the American people he might get it done!!! If he doesn't get it done and he has rallied the support of the American people, then the worst outcome is that democrats win the next election.
