I've noticed how many AAPL cheerleaders will often attempt to insult bears, no matter how polite, factual or well-thought they are, by attributing to them behavior that simply never took place, when the dissenting voice provides insight contrary to their own one-sided narrative.

This sort of behavior - attempts to silence outside voices though (often group-think) character assassination through a plainly false narrative is the sort of behavior one sees in members of groups like the Church of Scientology.

This is one reason Apple is so often described as a cult. The shoe fits.

Again from the rules:
No name calling. Disagree with another person's words all you want, but don't insult the person.
I clearly understand that your posting of the definition of a Troll is an attempt to bring light on the behavior or motivation of certain posters however I also believe that it could be taken as an insult and the discussion that followed could become uncivil.

I would request that people just quietly ignore those that post information they find less than useful.

We have a very long lasting community here and one of the most civilized boards on the Net, please lets keep it that way.

Also as others have already pointed out in some the posts following this repeating the same info over and over to get a reaction becomes a nuisance no matter how polite it is presented.

Also from the rules:
When warranted, a ban may be imposed for being a general nuisance and/or generally disrupting civil discourse.
Lets keep things civil and not let the decline in the price of Apple shares be an excuse to stray from our long standing civilized discussions.
