So LSI's made another crucial market error? ... OR maybe LSI should do DVD for 2+ years already with no appreciable market... Or how about gatearrays where they are getting killed... Or why not compare to companies like VLSI which are seeing 90%+ utilization rates because of communications and GSM... No instead go for absolute guarantees to keep the fabs working at under 65% utilization and continue producing one of the singularly worst rates of return for the semiconductor field... In spite of going to the trouble of trademarking phrases. And one more for cable modem support. A few months ago it was noted that LSI the digital company had more analog presentations at a conference than some of the analog companies. Why? Maybe to increase the sound effects in your hand-grenade idea. Call me naive but somehow I doubt it.
