And they will Last year, I had a lithotripsy for a kidney stone and later the same week I slipped in the bathroom, fell and broke my arm. Between my deductible and my 20% I hit my out of pocket max. all at once. Which I didn't have, but I could pay it off monthly. Which I did. So even her explanation doesn't hold water. This woman's story rings 100% true. When interviewed on TV, she made it clear: For her, it was important to know that she paid every single month, the same amount of money. Period. That is all one needs to know to be able to ascertain that she was damaged by the new law. Because the payment arrangement, as you learned in marketing 101, is part of the product. That gave her peace of mind which is, after all, the point of insurance in most cases. And Obamacare does not deliver for this woman as well as the policy it killed. Most providers will negotiate, which I've pointed out forever on these threads. But the endtire health care law was sold on a giant pack of lies. Because medical bankruptcies are largely bullshit. The idea that indigent patients couldn't get treatment was bullshit. That it would save people money, bullshit. That you could keep your policy or your doctor, bullshit. That more people would be covered, bullshit. That the coverage would be better, bullshit. That the nation would be better off, bullshit. It was all lies, from start to finish. And you continue to support it because you are an ideologue who doesn't give a shit what's good for the people. You want what you want and you have no rational basis, whatsoever, for wanting it -- once the lies are stripped away.
