News piece implicating future use of database products by telecoms. yahoo.com Larry E's vision, while distractive to the market, is just slightly ahead of its time. ORCL will be back. It is a market leader in its field & a fierce competitor to deal with. The issue here is growth. And sooner or later the growth will return; technology does not stand still; innovation will continue. At the present, there is so much downward pressure on this stock: database growth; Asia; analyst downgrades left & right; year-end tax selling; year-end window dressing; fear. The list can go on. Sooner or later the view will change -- as it always does. On a separate note, as far as whatever Syborg has to say, color him SYBS
